Easter in the City

by chintiandparker

For those of you not fleeing the Big Smoke for Easter, may we first of all congratulate you on your decision, even if it is more Hobson’s choice. Here’s why: London is absolutely fantastic when it’s half empty as you can negotiate the streets with ease and most importantly get into one of its myriad blockbuster art exhibitions, which on a normal day only the silver brigade would have the time or patience to queue for. No disrespect intended. This is what our London bound blog editor will be doing…

1. Heading to the V&A on Good Friday to see legendary society snapper Cecil Beaton’s photographs of Queen Elizabeth 11

2. Heading to Petersham Nurseries, Richmond, for tea, cake and garden chic on Easter Saturday

3. Easter Sunday will mostly be spent cosying up on the sofa to watch Blowup and devour fine chocolate Easter eggs
