Clemence Poesy’s Effortless Style

Although we often see her in couture gracing the red carpet, here at Chinti we prefer Clemence’s off-duty look. We love her Gallic nonchalance and effortless style.

Clemence is a girl after our own heart. She’s previously said that it’s important to see the poetry in fashion, to try and tell a story with your clothes. This notion fits comfortably with the Chinti sensibility; clothing should be bought to last.

Clemence is a true artist. She’s a musician (she sang on Miles Kane’s debut album) and an illustrator (she illustrated her own children’s book) but is most well known for her acting, playing Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and Eva in Gossip Girl.

Stripes have always been a Chinti and Parker staple and this year’s Autumn/Winter collection is no different. Check out our new styles here.

Another Chinti fan WOOF!

The lovely Mimi from the Mimi Noor boutique in Bath came into our new offices this week for her buying appointment; bringing with her the ADORABLE Butch. Butch is a Chinti fan too and couldn’t wait to try on a Breton T.

Bookish Cool – We’re head over heels for Penguin’s patterned covers

Chinti and Parker do Bookish cool, literally

As you’re no doubt aware, we like a book reference or two at Chinti HQ, so when we stumbled across this panoply (see below) of beautifully illustrated book covers by Penguin, we simply had to share them with you. While we would never advocate judging a book by its cover alone, or worse still, admit to buying literary classics for their bookshelf clout and then never reading them, there are quite a few that make superbly complementary accessories to our autumn winter ’12 collection. It-bags are blessedly over and besides, what else is a self-respecting Neo Beatnik going to carry?

Welcome to Autumn/Winter!

Chinti and Parker continues its love affair with the classic, easy chic of New Wave’s cinematic heroines for Autumn Winter ‘12. A rich autumnal palette of fox red, forest green and deep saffron yellow warms the cockles, while a playful dose of ‘50s Americana in the form of ditsy stars and graphic polka dots, proves that timeless style shouldn’t take itself too seriously.

Olympic Fever

With the opening ceremony just hours away, Britain’s Olympic obsession has officially reached fever-pitch. Day 70 of the Olympic Flame Torch Relay saw the Ab Fab girls join in – priceless.

Here are some of our favourite Olympic images so far.

What’s Vinny wearing today?

Following the girls SNAP moment earlier this week, Chinti’s favourite pooch decided to get in on the action and try out a Gathered Full Skirt yesterday.
